The
Riverine Society
The
United Way of Lowndes County's Riverine Society was formed
by compassionate community leaders to encourage philanthropy
and honor the generosity of individuals contributing $500
or more.
In
every community there are those who assume positions of leadership
- those who inspire by example and form the foundation upon
which the community draws its strength. The Riverine Society,
which draws its name from the historic rivers which flow through
our community, is that extraordinary group of leadership givers
of the United Way of Lowndes County.
For
of those of you who may be considering membership for the
first time, we welcome you. By joining the United Way of Lowndes
County’s distinguished leaders in giving, you support
the vital work of locally supported agencies whose spirit,
dedication, and year-round volunteer efforts touch the lives
of us all.
United

care, crisis, youth development, and special needs programs
